POTD: Green Pond
I took this picture just outside Greenwich Park (on the Blackheath side), around late afternoon time. The first post is the original version followed by a number of edits done in various iPhoneography apps.
- Original - Camera+
You know by now I love taking my iPhone pictures with this wonderful camera app. Today’s picture too was shot with my preferred app.

POTD: Some random iPhoneography shots
I have a slightly unusual edition today. I normally post different versions of the same picture every day, but today I have got six different pictures themselves. All these photos were taken with just iPhone and then “apped” up to give a distinctive feeling.
- Canary Wharf Building (Camera+ + Sunset Taker)
- Canary Wharf Building (Instacam + Sunset Taker)
- Knowledge Book (FX Photo Studio + Scratchcam)
- Horse Police (Camera+)
- Spinning Whirligig (FX Photo Studio)
- Tribute to a bike (Quickpix + Camera+)

POTD: Mega Monday (Autumn Leaves)
I took this picture in Greenwich Park with my iPhone, and is now one of my favourites. It has got that artistic appeal and so, I tried editing it in almost every art effect filtering app in my camera bag on iPhone. I am pretty pleased with the results and would like to share some of these with you.

POTD: An Autmn Scene
Autumn Birds
The wild duck startles like a sudden thought,
And heron slow as if it might be caught.
The flopping crows on weary wings go by
And grey beard jackdaws noising as they fly.
The crowds of starnels whizz and hurry by,
And darken like a clod the evening sky.
The larks like thunder rise and suthy round,
Then drop and nestle in the stubble ground.
The wild swan hurries hight and noises loud
With white neck peering to the evening clowd.
The weary rooks to distant woods are gone.
With lengths of tail the magpie winnows on
To neighbouring tree, and leaves the distant crow
While small birds nestle in the edge below.
-- John Clare
I took this picture with my iPhone last week while sitting in Greenwich Park.

POTD: A Rose in a Flower
A Little Budding Rose
It was a little budding rose,
Round like a fairy globe,
And shyly did its leaves unclose
Hid in their mossy robe,
But sweet was the slight and spicy smell
It breathed from its heart invisible.
The rose is blasted, withered, blighted,
Its root has felt a worm,
And like a heart beloved and slighted,
Failed, faded, shrunk its form.
Bud of beauty, bonnie flower,
I stole thee from thy natal bower.
I was the worm that withered thee,
Thy tears of dew all fell for me;
Leaf and stalk and rose are gone,
Exile earth they died upon.
Yes, that last breath of balmy scent
With alien breezes sadly blent!

POTD: An Autumn Road
This road, between St. Paul’s and One New Change, has been specially decorated for autumn with all dried and colored leaves stamped on the road. It looks quite beautiful. I am sharing some of the pictures I took with my iPhone last week.

POTD: Errata on yesterday's post - Osborne House (Selective Coloring)
Errata:
I had incorrectly uploaded same picture twice yesterday. Also, the picture titles and the actual pictures were mismatched. Nevertheless, below is the correct version of the “Selective Coloring” picture.

POTD: Beyond London (Osborne House)
Osborne House is a former royal residence in East Cowes, Isle of Wight, UK. The house was built between 1845 and 1851 for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a summer home and rural retreat. Prince Albert designed the house himself in the style of an Italian Renaissance palazzo. The builder was Thomas Cubitt, the London architect and builder whose company built the main façade of Buckingham Palace for the royal couple in 1847.
